London-born Erin Mansfield [they/them] is a renowned multi-instrumentalist and singer, known for their authenticity, honesty and gutsy interpretations of traditional songs and tunes. Beginning their career in 2019, Erin has flowed through different creative practices creating a unique and interesting sound. This culminated in their first release “othala” in the spring of 2024, a short album comprising both traditional and original material which received high praise, “the ambient sounds… take Othala into another world”. - At the Barrier.

As a working-class and queer performer, Erin never shies away from making their point heard on various social issues. Their music is raw and driven by community, and firmly rooted in the belief that everything is better when together.

They are also a popular ceilidh caller and folk dance nerd.
